Over the past year, the Tennessee Innocence Project (TIP) successfully obtained 4 exonerations for actually innocent clients wrongfully convicted of murder. Funds from the event pay for legal services for TIP clients.
On Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 12 pm CST, the Tennessee Innocence Project will host its Envision Innocence 2020 virtual fundraising event. Emceed by Emmy award winning Middle Tennessee news anchor Demetria Kalodimos, the event will feature a conversation between Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Jon Meacham and Dr. Yusef Salaam, a committed advocate and educator, focusing
