Penumbra Catheter Failures & Complications Investigation
Lieff Cabraser is investigating multiple reports of patients killed or injured by Penumbra Inc. catheter failures, breaks, fractures, and other complications. These deaths and injuries have occurred during thrombectomy surgeries in which Penumbra’s Jet 7 Xtra Flex neurovascular catheter was used to remove or aspirate blood clots from the brain.
