SpaceX Retaliatory Firings
Lieff Cabraser represents eight former SpaceX engineers in a hostile work environment and retaliation lawsuit against the company. The employees allege they were fired for writing a letter to SpaceX’s executive team expressing concerns about recent allegations of sexual harassment by CEO Elon Musk, and his harassing statements targeting women and LGBTQ+ persons that permeated the workplace. The letter called on SpaceX to take appropriate remedial action including providing safe avenues for reporting sexual harassment. SpaceX fired the employees for this protected conduct. The case, Holland-Thielen et al v. SpaceX, No. 24-06972, is currently pending in the Central District of California. Click here to read a copy of the Complaint in the case.
