Prior to joining Lieff Cabraser, Margaret was a law clerk for the Honorable Nathanial M. Gorton on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and also served as a law clerk on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Margaret graduated from Harvard Law School, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Law & Policy Review and contributed to the Predatory Lending and Consumer Protection Clinic. During law school, Margaret worked for the National Consumer Law Center and the U.S. House of Representative’s Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
Before practicing law, Margaret worked at The Century Foundation to develop and promote the regulation of online postsecondary education, monitor the structures of colleges and universities to ensure accurate public representation, and coordinate consumer protection advocacy. Margaret continues to pursue her commitment to the oversight of postsecondary education while at Lieff Cabraser through advocacy on behalf of students.
