Honey/PayPal Commission Theft Allegations

Lieff Cabraser’s Consumer Fraud group is investigating reports that Honey (owned by PayPal) is stealing commissions from influencers who promote Honey’s browser extension service.

According to reports, Honey engages in an unfair practice where it overrides affiliate links from influencers, replacing those links with Honey’s own links, diverting commissions to Honey that should go to the influencer instead.

At this time, we are not seeking to speak with Honey extension users. The potential legal claims at issue relate only to influencers working with Honey.
