We are pleased to announce that the Daily Journal (subscription) has named Lieff Cabraser partners Lexi J. Hazam and Sarah R. London to its annual listing of “Top Plaintiff Lawyers in California.” The awards recognize the top-performing plaintiff lawyers across the state.
Lexi was recognized for her leadership role in the Teen Social Media Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation. This groundbreaking case targets major social media platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube, for their role in contributing to addiction and mental health issues in adolescents through algorithmic design, inadequate parental controls, and age verification.
Sarah was honored for her exceptional work in the Juul injury/predatory marketing MDL, which resulted in historic settlements totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. These settlements not only provided monetary relief to thousands of plaintiffs but also enforced critical reforms to Juul and Altria’s marketing practices to combat youth vaping.
Congratulations to Lexi and Sarah on this prestigious and well-deserved recognition!
