The Fall 2023 Mass Torts Made Perfect Seminar is being held this week from October 10-12 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Lieff Cabraser partners Mark P. Chalos and Sarah R. London will be featured as distinguished speakers at the event.
On day two of the conference, Mark will lead a presentation entitled, “Issues Classes Under Rule 23(C)(4),” where he will explore issues classes and how they’re developing today.
On day three of the conference, both Mark and Sarah will participate in a breakout session entitled “Learning How to Litigate High Profile Sexual Assault Cases: The Importance of Empowerment, Advocacy In & Out of Court, and Implementing Change.”
MTMP conferences are designed for individuals working in the area of plaintiff mass torts and personal injury litigation. The biannual Las Vegas conferences are the largest gatherings of plaintiff mass tort attorneys in the world, with over 1,900 participants from 500+ law firms at each event.

About Mark P. Chalos
The Managing Partner of Lieff Cabraser’s Nashville office, Mark P. Chalos (twitter: @mpchalos) represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries and families whose loved ones died due to the negligence or misconduct of others. In the national opioids litigation, Mark represents counties and cities across the U.S., as well as Native American Tribes and health benefit plans. About Sarah R. London
A member of the Consumer Attorneys of California Convention Leadership Committee and a partner in Lieff Cabraser’s San Francisco office, Sarah R. London is a determined, skilled, and experienced advocate for the injured, employees, and consumers. She is experienced in all aspects of trial work, from drafting and arguing motions in limine, opposing Daubert challenges to plaintiffs’ experts and deposing defendants’ experts, and serving as lead trial counsel to writing successful post-trial and appellate briefs. Sarah’s case work involvement includes: the Florida Tobacco litigation, Zofran Infant Injury lawsuits, the Toyota Sudden Acceleration litigation, the Norvir antitrust case, Pacific Fertility Clinic Egg and Embryo Preservation Failures, the Gilead HIV Drug Kidney & Bone Injuries litigation, and the nationwide multidistrict Juul e-cigarette fraud and injury litigation. A 2020-2022 Super Lawyer, Super Lawyers Rising Star for eight consecutive years and 2015 finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California Streetfighter of the Year Award, Sarah has held multiple leadership positions in CAOC.
